Purchased this tent due to good reviews...glad I did. Aluminum poles pack shorter than glass poles and reduce their weight significantly. I wish the vestibules were larger but I can still fit my Kelty Slickrock pack under it. Nice zippers and stays dry. I use it for solo backpacking and with my 10 yr old son and it fits the bill perfectly! The stakes are a great design but bend fairly easily in compact soil or if you hit a root...does not include stakes for tie outs on rain fly either. Overall I love this tent and highly recommend it for a budget packing tent that is well built and reasonably light.

Used this on an overnight backpacking trip. Very easy set up (color coded) and rain fly went on great too. The stakes don't offer much for leverage to push down on but luckily we were on soft enough ground. This does not come with a footprint (ordered one for Mountainsmith Morrison Tent off amazon and worked great). It was snug with two people. I had room for my gear as im 5'4 but boyfriend is 6'4, no room for his stuff. Love the two doors and the vents in the rain fly.

I bought this tent based primarily on name recognition and the reviews. The tent performed its function this past weekend and was great for the 3 day weekend of trout fishing. I stayed dry during a brief downpour and the tent breathes well. The tent went up in 5 minutes and as previously stated does not come with the correct number of stakes. The seam above one of the doors has already started to pull loose and the zipper pulls kept coming undone. I had to re thread them and cinch them tight to get them to hold. I will probably end up doing some sewing by hand on this tent. I like it enough in its function to keep it and modify it rather than return it and get another surprise. I like that there was more than enough room for me and my gear. I am 6'4" and 265# I bought this as a 1 person tent to take fishing and jeeping.

This tent fits my needs perfectly. Light enough to go in my backpack, plenty of room for me and some gear or two people that don't mind being snug together. I haven't had it in the rain yet but it is well built and should do well.

Works great, easy to set up. This is my first pack tent!
