I love this pack and I can't wait to get the dog out for some snowshoeing this winter. The pack is so comfortable the dog doesn't even know he's wearing it sometimes.

Bought only the pack at [...] to find the Trippin' Kit, with addition gear, at STP for about $20 less during holiday special. What can I say, it was a small Christmas miracle. Pack has quite a bit of storage space and fits well. Since it is not in the product description, the large pack is best for a Mastive or St. Bernard size dog. Medium size would be best for a German Short Hair or Weimaraner. Handle on top and draw cord on top are nice additional features. Have used the pack twice and it gets the job done. No more dog food in my back.

Very impressed with this pack! I use it on my 60 lbs lab mix. It amazed me how it stayed on and balanced the whole time even as my dog ran through brush and bumped into trees. Just make sure you balance the two sides. Dog was able to carry his own food, water bottle (full), water bowl, leash, and light sticks which i clip on him when it's dark (among other uses). It's great to be able to save yourself 5-10 lbs of weight. Especially when you are doing 5+ days in the woods and take your climbing gear with you.

give thought to balanced load. thermos in 1 side didn't work with dog treats in the other. not a fault with the pack - but a consideration with what to bring...
