Purchased this when one of our Mountainsmith modular hauler cubes finally gave out (the handle ripped out when lifted because it was fully loaded with canned goods and not carried from the bottom). This dry bag-cube is a nice non-traditional alternative to the cylindrical shape of most dry bags. It has a tough cordura outer with a separate taped-seam liner inside. It's pretty roomy and the contents are easily accessible. I plan to add it to my canoe dry bag arsenal and put things I need easy access to throughout the trip in it. The shape makes it nice for towels, clothes, electronics, or anything else you need access without digging through a tall, long, crammed-full bag. Plus it fits in my Modular Hauler system!
No, this is larger than the cubes in the Modular Hauler.

Yes. It takes up the same space within the hauler as the regular bags, and I regularly use one or two in place of the standard cubes. However, depending on how much you put into the bag, it will stand taller than the standard cubes, an issue only if you are attempting to stack other large items on top of the filled hauler. One of the beauties of the hauler system is that you can substitute cooler bags or dry bags as fits your needs for a particular trip. The other beauty is with some thoughtful additional puchases, you can color code the bags according to purpose or content, for example I have two cooler cubes in yellow and my dry bags are blue for me and teal for my wife.
