1.0 out of 5 stars. surprising...Verified Buyer Reviewed by timbo from Mn on Wednesday, July 15, 2015Great design, looked perfect. However, after only 1 weekend trip sliding around in my carpeted trunk the bottom had abraded badly, and wasn't watertight. Had to return it..sorry

5.0 out of 5 stars. A great dry duffelVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Thursday, May 28, 2015We just used one of these (I bought 2) on a 1450 mile trip from Denver to southern New Mexico (Silver City) and back on our BMW 1200GSs. I was able to fit a 2 person North Face Expedition 25 tent, 2 Big Agnes sleeping pads (the blow up ones), 2 Exped pillows and 2 REI sleeping bags (both down bags). We go lazy on the last day and didn't put the tent back in its stuff sack or the sleeping pads. We just jammed everything back in and it all fit
On our trip we hit rain, heavy rain, sleet and hail. The bag handled all of it like a champ.
In camp we used the bag to store our Klim jackets and helmets. It was nice knowing they would dry the next morning and not having them take up room in tent. There was not enough room for jackets, pants and helmets.
Its not easy to see in the pics but there are two compression straps where the handles attach and two more on the sides where the roll folds over. This things are amazingly heavy and solidly built.
My only complaint is there no one-way air valve in it. It takes a few tries to get all the air out, but its really not a problem. I just had to find something wrong.
Overall its a great bag and costs a fraction of other options out there. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Product!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Irving Texas on Thursday, January 1, 2015Just used this for 5 days at Scout Winter Camp. It was my outdoor suitcase. Everything stayed dry in spite of rain two days. I really like the large opening that allows you to easily locate and retrieve your stuff. Highly recommended and plan to buy another for my scout grandson!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good stuffVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from So Cal on Monday, September 15, 2014Mountainsmith generally makes high quality stuff, and this one is no exception. Good materials and rugged construction. I like this over traditional drybags because of the wide opening - it just makes finding stuff much easier.
