“On the outside, the Mountainsmith Euro Backpack looks like its in the same league as Lowe or Northface Travel Packs. However, with flimsy main zippers, weak, and badly designed side carry handle, the usability isn't anywhere near the two high end competitors. The pack also lacks any interior compartment dividers, so unless you are exclusively using zippered travel cubes to keep your clothes and gear separated, you will be digging for you stuff. I have previously purchased the Mountainsmith Covert pack, and found that it lacks similar refinements. Look to Jansport's line of travel packs if you are on a budget, or watch for the Lowe and Northface travel packs to have sale prices. Check out the eBags Weekender for a great go-bag, its up to a 3 day trip and has adequate back pack straps (why are they the only company that thinks to make the interior of luggage in a bright color? Check it out, you'll see what I'm talking about!)”
