I have a Mountainsmith backpack, so when I saw this camara bag I bought it for the (sals)price and quality. It is a very well made bag, looks to maintain the Mountainsmith reputation for durability; however, it's way to big to be a point&shoot bag for digital cameras. The top flap is made for 35mm film rolls, but as far as I know, almost no one uses them anymore! esp. in p/s cameras. I'll use that hump-like space for batteries, but it does make the bag very bulky. The zippers only go down half way, so if your camera is a larger p/s (mine is a Canon sx120 IS), it will be harder to get it out/in the pocket, not to mention possible scratches from the zipper. I had to return the large for a medium, and the medium fits better, but a wider opening would have made it much better. Hope this helps.....

I just bought a Canon ELPH camera and realized I needed a bag for it. I shopped around on several WEB Sites and just could not find a bag that meet my needs. I decided to check STP and found the Mountainsmith Exposure II Camera Bag to hold the camera, charger, and memory cards.

I purchased this in the mustard yellow for my Panasonic LX5 with the lens adapter. It is roomy, not exactly a snug fit, but I was not looking for that. It fits my camera with the lens adapter and the shoulder straps comfortably. It is well padded and fit nicely on my backpack's waist belt. The front access pocket carries my lens cleaning kit and the battery charger, but it is awkward and heavy to open. With that said, it is a high quality product and I trust it to keep my camera safe. I went hiking this weekend and felt my camera was well secured when scrambling over a rocky part of the trail.

I ordered this because I lost what must have been the small version of this product and needed a replacement. This is too big for my uses, but it is a great camera case for big cameras.
My one minor criticism of the Mountainsmith cases is that the pouch in the lid makes the whole case bulkier than it really needs to be.
