I'm very short, with a short torso, so I needed a pack that would suit someone my size, and this one is absolutely perfect! It's very light-weight and just the right size for a day-trip or an overnighter. Could work for a weekend trip if you are a very light packer. I believe it is airline compatible as well. I plan on using it for a week-long adventure full of day trips to the AZ desert! I love the green color! And of course you can't beat the price.

I loved the color and many features of this pack (green color). Unfortunately this pack did not have straps to lift up the shoulder straps. This made it significantly less comfortable to carry any amount of weight in it than the Gregory Isis daypack. Bummer as there is much I like about the pack!

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Used this for a trip to Las Vegas and another trip to Germany/England. Small enough to fit carry-on size requirements for planes. Great I'd buy it again!

This is my first purchase of a backpack. I have only used it once on a local practice run of 5 miles. There was no discomfort. I fear that while hiking in & out of the Grand Canyon next month I will wish I had access to items at the bottom of the pack.
