Mountainsmith Modular Hauler 3

Since I am a school teacher, this is an ideal product for transporting projects to and from school. It will also be useful since we have two young children. I have priced similar items in the big box stores. This is a value.

This product works very well for tailgating, weekend bicycling trips and containing groceries in trunk.

I bought this for a couple of reasons: 1. I drive a small vehicle (a Beetle) with very limited trunk space. Therefore, anything I do put in the trunk tends to become sort of disoriented, clutter-y, and messy. 2. I live in Montana, so my trunk is always filled with "emergency" type stuff--an extra jacket/gloves/flashlight/small shovel/a few tools/etc. 3. Combine #1 and #2 and this equals a disaster. So, I purchased this with the hopes of keeping things a little saner and more easily accessible in the trunk. The dimensions are perfect for my little trunk. All my crazy emergency gear fits nicely in the cubes. I keep one cube spare for groceries/purchases so bags don't get flung around. As per other reviews, it is flimsy when empty. And, as per other reviews, I used the similar solution of bolstering it with a piece of cardboard (in fact, used the cardboard box the item arrived in!). All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase as it does for me exactly as I intended it to--keep me organized!

Perfect Christmas gift for my brother, he organizes all of his camping gear before heading out and each bag is packed for a separate area Kitchen gear running and biking gear, pet bowl and food.

I've wanted one of these since I saw my sister's a year ago. I travel a lot with my dog to dog events and general travel and there are cetain things that just "live" in my car's trunk. Perfect place for spare towels and blankets for when I have a sandy dog. Almost a bit too big though still working out the kinks on how to use this best.

Ended up getting 2 for Xmas presents for 2 families who frequently drive up to Maine to their vacation place. They loved them - a great help in organizing as well as packing and transporting. Hopefully, they will prove to be sturdy enough over many uses and misuses.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. She has a SUV and now there will not be things rolling around in the back. She loves it.

Thrilled with this! It will be handy for weekend trips to the lake or hiking. It's much better quality than I expected- it looks like it will last. It is also cleverly designed.

These were not what I expected, they aren't self supporting and the large bag is useless. However, they make great gear bags. WE use them for mtn bike gear, or climbing gear, or a weekend out of town. They are very spacious and fit nicely in the back of the car. They are well made and will likely hold up well. I bought 3 more for Christmas gifts for the outdoorsy gear oriented people on my list.

Got one for myself several months ago. Liked it so much got this one as Christmas present for someone else. As reviews indicate, it is a bit floppy until you get it filled. Putting some cardboard in does help. The 3-bag is plenty big. Can't imagine carrying the 4-bag! I have used mine to organize the items I keep in my SUV. But can see using it for camping trips, etc.
