WE use this for family trips and each child pics out a colored bag to keep up with their own gear or clothing. The main compartment then becomes dirty clothes catcher for the remainder of the trip. Also, I have used this to divide outdoor climbing/camping and beach gear when on road trips and need to divide different sporting equipment.

Me, my wife and two daughters (5 and 8) use this for camping and road trips. Everybody gets their own bag, so it keeps things organized well. Stopping at a hotel, it's easy (but heavy!) to just grab the whole thing to take in for the night. For camping in a Vanagon Westfalia, it's a great space-save and fits perfectly in front of the back seat. It has been used and abused over the past year and has held up very well. The only down side is that the outer shell is a bit light and deforms a bit when it's packed full. A small price to pay for a great item, though.

I bought the Mountainsmith Modular Hauler 4 by Mountainsmith to organize gear, including food and clothing, so I can grab and go.

I tend to want to carry everything I own so that I'm prepared in case of emergency, so this was a way to put it all in a more compact organized way than I had before. We will also use it in the motorhome--the color coded bags are a great idea. It is on the flimsy side, but for my use that was better because I could shove it in a smaller space than if it was sturdier. It's a perfect solution for me!

I use this for camping and also for weekend trips.

great quality and design

Mountainsmith has a great line of quality products and their modular hauler is no exception. Perfect for storing camping equipment, or anything else you might have in mind. Color coding is a plus!

I thought that this was going to have stiffer sides to help it stay up. It is ok but not all what I was hoping for.
