The product arrived on time. The directions for attaching the strapettes to the vintage Mountainsmith lumbar pack were easy to follow and works well for this pack.

The Strapettes took the load from the lower back and distributed it across my torso. The pack (Mountainsmith Lumbar Pack) was easily put on, taken off and the adjustments needed to “make the pack uniquely mine” were unbelievably quick. These made the pack "comfortable," who could ask for more.

  • Question “Will this work on the Blaze lumbar pack?”
Asked on 11/7/2015 7:55:36 AM by CGirty from Pennsylvania
    • Answer According to Mountainsmith's own web site the strapettes are designed to be used on Day, Tour, Tour FX, Ether 20L and Travel Trunk packs. That said, I notice the Blaze has the same type buckle connections for the shoulder strap that are are needed to attach the top straps of the Strapettes. What I don't see is the buckle or strap needed to connect the other straps. I think the question would be best put to the people at Mountainsmith. They have always been helpful and courteous when I've spoken to them. They are also on Facebook so I'm sure the answer is out there.

    • Answer It is not listed as compatible with the Blaze. This handy shoulder harness converts the Day, Tour, Tour FX, Ether 20L and Travel Trunks (L-XXL) into shoulder carry packs.
