What more can I say in a review about tent stakes? Hmm ... well these replaced the cheap galvanized steel set that came with my tent. These are far superior and don't bend when tapped with a stick or a rock. If you have a tent with galvanized stakes, quit reading reviews and buy these now.

I have some inexpensive nylon tarps that I use over my hammock and for other camping shelters. I have replaced the wire shepherd hook stakes with these aluminum V-stakes. The V-stakes weigh less, do not turn in the ground and are easy to get out when moving camp. They normally do not bend, except in very rocky ground they might bend when pounded in with a rock. I have four tarp sets and each one now has V-stakes.
