“I bought these for my 16yo son who hiked 85 miles in the Sierra's with me last summer. It was his first serious hike and he's about 5'6". These slightly shorter poles were perfect for him and he depended on them almost every step every day. Because I read reviews that the tips sometimes came off, I pulled them out and epoxied them in place. He will use them again next July when we summit Whitney.”
