I have used these poles a few times and really like them. I have not had any issues with them collapsing on me and they feel very sturdy. Can't beat them for the price.

I was hesitant because of the low price, but am very pleased with the product. It is a great value.

I bought these for my 16yo son who hiked 85 miles in the Sierra's with me last summer. It was his first serious hike and he's about 5'6". These slightly shorter poles were perfect for him and he depended on them almost every step every day. Because I read reviews that the tips sometimes came off, I pulled them out and epoxied them in place. He will use them again next July when we summit Whitney.

I use these while geocaching and find them to be a knee saver when it comes to navigating steep hills or ice and snow. A bit on the heavy side but like the fact that they collapse and can fit into my backpack when not in use. Wish there were a storage spot for the protective rubber tip as it can easily get lost.

Good all around product for hiking use. Held up well even under fairly rough terrain while I was carrying heavier pack. A little heavy for use on longer, multi-day hikes but will keep using as long as they do the job.

There are no instructions, but they are so easy to adjust that none are needed. Twisting the lower section works best. The tip covers are nice when you are walking on a surface that could be damaged by the tips.

Took them on a hike, walking the dog, there are always a bigger, nasty dogs around, they don't like to come near the stick.
