Mountainsmith Zip-Top Tote Bag - Small

I got this as my gym bag, and wasn't sure what to expect from the inner pockets: there is a pocket on each of the four vertical sides, plus a smaller horizontal zip pocket and a clip you could attach to something. It's great to have so many, and they're big (go up 3/4 of the way up the wall of the bag)---the only con is that the pockets don't have any fasteners, so they kind of pooch out into the center of the bag, making it a little awkward to find stuff and pull it out. I'm thinking of adding some velcro or snaps or something. Otherwise I agree with all of the other comments.

STRONG, HANDSOME, RUGGED, ATTRACTIVE UTILITY BAG THAT I USE FOR WORK AND PLAY. GREAT IN THE CANOE BECAUSE OF THE WATER RESISTANT RUBBER BOTTOM. LOTS OF ROOM IN THE "SMALL" BAG. IF I ORDERED A LARGER SIZE I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO LIFT IT AND ITS CONTENTS OFF OF THE GROUND! I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE AND AM EVEN THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK FOR MORE.

DOES NOT come with a shoulder strap -- despite the fact that it is pictured with one. Package says this must be bought separately, after I looked around for it. Great bag otherwise.

The idea of putting a waterproof bottom on this bag was long over due genius. I have been looking for some one to due this in a non-industrial bag for years.

The configuration of this upright bag frees you from trying to stuff long, flat duffle bags into tiny gym lockers. The top clear pocket is perfect for holding your swipe card and keys. The sturdy waterproof bottom holds the shape of the bag and keeps contents dry in sometimes wet areas of locker rooms.

This is a well made bag. I like that is has a zippered top and your stuff won't fall out. Will be using it on our boat.

this is the best mtnsmith cube yet! i have tons of them and think they really made improvement for this one.

Have used the bag a few times, found it to hold a surprisingly good quantity of stuff. The rigid bottom also adds stability when the bag's not fully loaded. A few minor complaints; the shoulder strap isn't short enough. While the rubber base is practical it's also a bit heavy. This is not a light weight bag to stuff into your suitcase.
