I ordered my regular size and it was VERY very tight. Difficult to put on and almost impossible to remove. Returned it.

I have worn this bra for many years but it is a discontinued style so I was overjoyed to see that Sierra Trading had some in stock. I only started wearing a bra of any type after menopause (when my bust grew from menopausal weight gain) and I didn't want anything with an underwire or a padded cup. This bra has boning on the sides so it gives good support and it gives this almost 60 year old woman some lift. However, I don't think the lift is so much that it gives a torpedo look to the bust like some reviewers have mentioned. The cup is not a hard molded cup its a soft cup with no extra padding. I don't like padded cups so this bra is perfect for me. Still, the soft cup is double lined for concealment and I find it very comfortable. I do a lot of yardwork that requires heavy lifting at times and even on hot 90 degree days this bra stays in place and is comfortable. This isn't a fancy lacy bra but if you want a good comfortable bra that gives some lift to the bustline then you would probably like this bra.

I tried this on and it was terrible right from the start. It was uncomfortable and I felt like I was in a corset. I would not have been able to keep it on another minute. Plus, it didn't look good at all. I felt like I was back in 1950 with the pointy bras.

The basic fit is extremely comfortable. I will try one with a smaller cup, but I am not hopeful. This should be my correct size.
