    I usually wear size 7.5 and got an 8, and it is about right--roomy but not sloppy. The cloth upper makes these boots less stiff and is still waterproof, although I think they will be harder to clean than if they were smooth rubber. The only drawback is that the heel seems to be positioned farther forward than I would prefer. Instead of being at the very rear of the sole it is an inch forward. I tend to be a very heel-first walker and so this is a mild concern but I think I will get used to it and quit noticing it.
