    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Sizing is men's. Size 7 is really a women's size 8. It doesn't show this on the site but when you receive the boots the box has, "Men 7, Women 8". I wear a women's 7 so the boots are too big. The quality is great and I may keep them and wear with really thick socks.

    I am using these for hunting marshy areas for sika deer. The convertible portion folds over and is secured by a button so it isn't flopping around. Then when you need it, you can unfold it and bring it over your knees and halfway up your thigh and tighten with a drawstring.

    Love the extra height. I need it to cross small streams when walking to my tree stand. Also great boots for fishing on small streams. Feet stay warm and dry. Boots also have great traction.
