Munro American Avalon Shoes - Mary Janes (For Women)

The first day I wore them all day at work and my feet didn't hurt at all.

I ordered this shoe for my 90 yr. old mother. She loves the metallic color and the fit was great.

I had bought the shoes for smart casual wear and they were exactly what I wanted.

Munro shoes are the best (next to Brooks sneakers). Wish they could make high heels. I also wish you could make the Sierra website a tad friendlier to use. Even though I have the shoes in my closet, this item still shows up in my cart and I spent 1/2 hour with a lovely customer service person and could not clear it.

Beautiful sboes that I hoped would fit. Ordered 2 pairs beacuse reviews said they ran big. Neither pair fit, size 9 my normal and 81/2 smaller sizes were too long and medium was too wide.

These were stable and comfortable, but the color was not right for my need.

I was so pleased at the fit of these and looked forward to having a comfortable red shoe in my wardrobe. But I do like to walk (we're talking about 30-minute town strolls, not a hike in the woods!), and these lost a button the very first day. I have bought a pair of sew-on buttons and will try to fix the problem by sewing those on in place of the elastic that the decorative button anchors. I am not worried about losing flexibility by the loss of the elastic, since in these shoes as in others I've bought recently, I find that the addition of instep elastic does not add comfort because it causes the shoe to pull away from your foot as you step. And elastic is liable to be a weak point in construction. I notice that other people have not mentioned lost buttons, so maybe the trouble with mine was a fluke. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt with four stars instead of three. They are still nicely made for comfort.

You just can't beat Munro American shoes! Comfortable from the moment you put them on and well padded with the removable insert. I ordered the red (it is fabulous) and the bone metallic (returning because I want a lighter color). Can't wait to wear them again!
