    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Although these shoes are supposed to be of the highest quality, I found their size and craftsmanship to be unpredictable. The 8.5 was irregular with the right strap being too long, they were wide, and seemed to run large. I returned them for the 8.0 and they were too small- by a lot. So I am out two shipping fees and no shoes.

    I love shoes but have to wear a stable shoe with low heels because of a broken ankle. After I found the correct size, 1/2 size shorter and more narrow, these are great. The red color adds a little zip to the sometimes limited selection I can wear.
