Munro American Samantha Stretch Boots - Tall (For Women)

These are beautiful boots, but unfortunately for someone else. Background: I have quite a few pairs of Munros, most in size 7M, and a couple in 6.5M. According to the measuring devices in the stores, my feet are 6.5 on the slightly narrow side of a medium width. I could NOT get these on my feet. At all. (I had the same problem with a pair of Boggs tall pull-on boots.) I have a fairly high instep, and I think that is the problem. So disappointing. I haven't returned yet - I'm an eternal optimist and will try once more :) - but I think I will have to. :( A pity, because they are lovely boots. Recommended with reservations.

These boots are great for work, can also be worn with jeans, and are perfect for long work days or long days of walking.

These boots are very trim and nice looking with suits, dresses, or slacks. They are snug on the foot and leg and a little difficult to get on and off but look good once you get them on. I wore them all day the first day I had them and they were comfortable the entire day. I would have given them five stars except for the difficulty getting them on and off.

I had ordered the brown suede in a size 9 narrow. I really liked the look,and with thin socks a 9 worked okay. When I decided to order a black pair, only the microfiber ones were left. I wasn't sure how I felt about microfiber, but went for it. I'm pleased. I'm typically a size 9 in boots, but decided to order a size up, especially with only narrow width or double wide left. I ordered the 91/2 narrow and they fit perfect. I have been wearing them with dress pants, skirts and leggings' they have revitalized my wardrobe.

Easiest way for me to get into this boot was to fold over the top, put my foot in, then roll it up my leg. Right foot = 5 seconds. Left foot = 6 minute struggle. Measured from outside looked like they were the same. Maybe the stretch in the material was oriented differently? Sad to send back. Very attractive boot.
