    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Very comfortable to stand in. Unfortunately, for me, because the heel has a lot of give, it is also heavy, and the shoe tends to slide off my foot when trying them out on the carpeting and going down carpeted steps at my house. That is the only reason I say I would not recommend them. Otherwise they are high quality, well made, nice looking shoes and the cushiony heal makes the shoe very comfortable to stand in.
