    The description at STP's website may have been corrected by now, but at the time of my order, it stated that the software was compatible with Windows XP (among other earlier Windows versions). However, the box did not list XP, and when I verified with STP, they acknowledged that the website description was in error and it would not work with XP.

    This was an old and out of date copy of a single park in the listed states, nothing outside the state was shown. You would be able to get adequate general terrain maps with a really good printer. Would recommend getting real trail maps though.

    This is not general AK map software. Is basically a digital version of Trailsmart park maps. Katmai, Denali, Kenai areas, PWS marine & coastal, Wrangell, Glacier Bay, Chilkoot trail in SE, but not points in between. Recommended only if what you need is included.
