So there are different tents for different uses -- we have a Eureka Copper Canyon (huge family camping tent that we took to Fort Wilderness at Disney), assorted backpacking tents (small, light, and you can hardly sit up in them), and now the Nemo, which we bought for the Boy Scouts' Klondike Derby (winter camping in the snow). For that purpose, I think this tent will be great. We did have a small problem (missing 2 of 12 tent pegs so we could only stake out one vestibule -- then we had a thunderstorm and water crept under the tent between the footprint and floor, probably because the vestibule was collapsed on that side) but when I contacted Nemo they sent me two more tent pegs, so we are good to go now. Footprint is great, and soft and cuddly pawprint very nice too (it's a good tip to put the sleeping pads under the pawprint) and setup was pretty easy once we figured out how to thread the poles. Takes two strong people on either end of the poles to bend and insert them into the grommets. Ventilation is not great (two tiny windows) but I imagine this will be just fine for winter -- just not too comfortable in the humid summertime. Doors are like portholes, with nice sturdy zippers. It is actually surprisingly roomy inside, even with four adult-size teens -- but you probably want to keep most of the gear outside in the vestibules. You can sit up just fine. It is not a light tent (but if you divided it among several people you could probably carry it.) The little details are great (light pockets for your headlamp, red stakes). If you want to fully stake it out (say, in a gale) you need to bring more stakes, as the tent as sold only has 10.
