Closeouts. The design of Nemo's Asashi tent is all about options, space and camping comfort: The included footprint allows for a minimalist set-up with just the waterproof rainfly and poles, and the generous vestibule gives you more living space.

This is the largest 4 person tent I've ever slept in. We take it camping with the kids and have plenty of space for the 4 of us. We've slept 2 adults, 3 kids no problem. As well as 4 adults with space to spare. It breathes really well and never has any condensation on the inside of the tent. The only downside is the two sidewalls on the fly. The fly doesn't go to the ground and relies on the tent's waterproof material to do the job. As soon as you touch a wet tent, you get wet. I don't understand why they did it this way. The rest of the fly is amazing and goes all the way to the ground.
Overall great tent. Slightly heavy for hiking, but it packs up fairly small. Great for a 6 mile round trip hike with children.

Overall a nice design. Easy to set up as claimed. Good looking and spacious. On the negative side; material seems too thin to hold up to abuse. Not rugged enough. Does not have a 'bathtub' floor as advertised. Not a big fan of the carrying case design. You have to fold it just right for it to fit nicely. Prefer the fold/roll/stuff bag design better. Was expecting a little more from this tent but it should get me by for family camping for a while.

Without looki g at any directions, this yet took all of 5 minutes to set up. It's a fabulous design - sturdy and looks like it can handle any wind storm. It assembles like a tinker toy set - with poles locking into plastic stays. Buckles snap into mating pieces.
Instead of the traditional stuff sack you usually struggle to get the tent to for into, the components roll up (toiletry kit style). Very well thought out and fun!

Having used my previous 3 man tent to the end of its life, I went hunting for something a little bigger and of higher quality. I saw this on Sierra Trading Post and started the research. Although this tent is more expensive than others, it is worth it for those who will use it a lot. It's definitely not a backpackers tent considering the weight, but is a superb car camping or short hike tent.
The construction quality is great. You can see the seems sealed. The floor of the tent is made of heavier material. The pre-bent poles are durable. It was easy to set up and the features are well thought out. I love the ability to set up the fly on the footprint. The small features like the light holders and extra gear storage are just great.
Overall, this is a great tent and I highly recommend it.
