I wear scarfs, but not such heavy ones; when i really want to keep warm I layer with Ibex/Smartwool/etc. zip-neck heavy baselayers under zipneck turtleneck sweaters and may add a vest with zipneck as well and don't neet a scarf. For fashionable things it would be great, just not my need for these combos.
