Closeouts. A great layering piece or on their own with a long top, Neve's Marbles pants are awash in cheerful watercolor-inspired patterns, rounded out with the softness of cotton-silk fabric and a hint of stretch.

These are very fun. I like the wild purple pattern. They are, however, very low waisted and the elastic is not strong. I spend all day pulling them up. If I have a short skirt over them it's a problem because that pulls my skirt up too high. I might try to sew in stronger elastic. But they are cute and I would definitely buy them again. I have another pair In a different pattern. The cotton fabric feels good on my legs and they don't make me sweat like something made of Lycra or nylon. But wear a slip!

I'll use it when I go out shopping or to eat (informally) parties anywhere except formal occasions. The colors are bright, it's wild looking, comfortable and fun. I am 5'6" with slender everything except middle aged bump. I bought a medium and the waist is very generous. They are also hitting me about 4 inches above the ankle. I prefer things longer, rather than shorter, but I can easily wear these with boots, so that's ok. If the other color goes on sale and is in a small, I'll try that for a snugger waist.

Maybe I got a bad one. When I first put it on, I was convinced it was backwards because it was higher in the front than the back (plumber's view). But when I turned it around, it fit exactly the same way - too high in the front and too low in the back. WT? It went back. I loved the fabric and the print. I wanted the matching set for warm pajamas, but it did't work out.
