Reviewed by Sweater Fan from Arlington, VA on Thursday, January 2, 2014I own lots of Neve sweaters, and this is a favorite. The weave is a bit looser, so it's a little stretchier, but still warm. Great design on the sleeve and back. Sizing consistent with Neve! meaning it runs a little small - I always size up one size for their stuff.
Reviewed by Blazerbabe from California on Wednesday, December 25, 2013Neve sweaters are an excellent value: not inexpensive but they hold their shape and last a long time with minimal care. Also they are classically styled so will always be fashionable. I don't usually buy pure wool, I like blends better but made an exception with this one. I bought the red which is fun to wear and doesn't itch at all.
Reviewed by Cassandra from Vancouver, BC on Tuesday, November 26, 2013I got this sweater in an XL for some reason though I generally prefer an L in Neve, and it seems to fit snug enough at the waist (where it matters for warmth) that it works on me (5'10", 160 lbs). It is different from my other Neve items though because it is not the plushy double knit that Neve usually uses, but a single knit, still warm but thinner - will probably breathe better, but not sure it's what I want. The design is uncompromisingly ski-y so all things considered I'm not sure it will be a keeper.
Reviewed by MrsMelons from Salt Lake City, UT on Sunday, November 3, 2013The second time I wore this, I pulled the sleeve to take the sweater off, and the sleeve seam came apart! I can whip-stitch it back together quite easily, but still...
On the other hand, it's a gorgeous, well-priced, brightly-colored, warm, nicely-designed sweater that I want to wear all the time.
It's still worth the price despite necessary repairs.
