I needed shorts that allowed me full freedom of motion, but also a little modesty, and these are perfect. The inner short is, well, short, but it covers everything. The outer short is light and somewhat loose. The wide, soft, low-rise waistband sits right at my hips without binding. Very comfortable. I wish I could have ordered another pair in my size. I'm a muscular 5'4", 110-115lbs, and the xs is just right, even a little loose. An xxs would probably also fit, but it would be tighter around the rear than I'd like.

But with trying on I found the outside short adequate, but the liner was just odd. Elastic bands at the bottom of the liner made it feel like a short snug brief. But the length made it seem like it should be a long liner. Just wasn't domfortable or right for me. These went back

Answer Blue Grotto is light then Blue Jewel. Raven and black are almost the some color. In my opinion Raven is just a little lighter then Black.
