Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Traveling Man from Riverside from Riverside il on Wednesday, April 24, 2013I echo the comments of other reviewers that this is not the best runner any of us have ever owned. What I espically like about the shoe is that they are comfortable (yes, size up 1/2 size) and look great as a casual shoe with jeans or shorts. Took them on a recent business trip and they do good double duty. Ok for casual meetings. Good enough of a runner to give me support and comfort for a short run < 4 miles.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by DBC from Canyon Lake, TX on Thursday, December 13, 2012I use them for walking. I don't run any more, but they seem a little stiff for that.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bobcat from Poughkeepsie, NY on Thursday, October 18, 2012Very nice shoe, but I don't think I would run in them. I bought them mostly for walking and everyday wear, for which they are great, but they feel very stiff and heavy compared to a modern running shoe. The retro look and subdued colors are also a plus in my book.
- Best Uses: Walking
- Cons: Heavy, Stiff
- Pros: Attractive, Comforable
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from Connecticut on Friday, September 28, 2012Was completely fooled...shoe is large and stiff, not a good feel for distance running. Usually run the 1080s and I'm already on my way back to them.
- Best Uses: Not running
- Cons: Heavy, Inversion, Stiff
