I echo the comments of other reviewers that this is not the best runner any of us have ever owned. What I espically like about the shoe is that they are comfortable (yes, size up 1/2 size) and look great as a casual shoe with jeans or shorts. Took them on a recent business trip and they do good double duty. Ok for casual meetings. Good enough of a runner to give me support and comfort for a short run < 4 miles.

I use them for walking. I don't run any more, but they seem a little stiff for that.

Very nice shoe, but I don't think I would run in them. I bought them mostly for walking and everyday wear, for which they are great, but they feel very stiff and heavy compared to a modern running shoe. The retro look and subdued colors are also a plus in my book.
    • Best Uses: Walking
    • Cons: Heavy, Stiff
    • Pros: Attractive, Comforable

Was completely fooled...shoe is large and stiff, not a good feel for distance running. Usually run the 1080s and I'm already on my way back to them.
    • Best Uses: Not running
    • Cons: Heavy, Inversion, Stiff
