    I have plantar fascitis and very weak ankles, so it's tough to find a shoe I can walk in for hours without discomfort. I used to wear Reebok walking shoes, but the last pair caused pain on some trails, so I gave these NB a try. They're the best walking shoes I've had. I can walk miles and remain comfortable. I haven't had a problem on pavement, sidewalks or dirt trails (other than white is not ideal for those). These shoes do run narrow, as a warning.

    It's hard to find narrow width shoes of any kind, especially athletic, so I rely on New Balance for my fitness needs. They feel great, and look good, too.

    Will use these shoes for walking and working out at the gym. Nice looking shoe that pairs well with a wide range of slacks and jeans. Arch support and cushioning is adequate (though not great) for walking. Not sure I would want to use them for more vigorous activity.
