I've had issues with my knees for years now and I've recently been suffering from bursitis, a hamstring strain and patellar tendinitis because of an injury a few months ago. I thought my hiking/gym/active days were over - and then I bought these shoes. The day after receiving them I took a moderate five mile hike without any issues whatsoever, and NO KNEE PAIN. I couldn't believe it. They're so lightweight I actually thought they'd sent me an empty box! That lightness translated really well for me on the trail since I really don't like wearing shoes in general, I'm always barefoot if practicable. It almost feels like you're wearing a cycling shoe at first, with a smaller, somewhat harder sole, but I got used to it surprisingly fast and I want to wear these all the time now. I'm normally a size 11 in everything and these are a bit long for me, maybe a half size too big, but I can compensate with socks and it's not a problem. I have very high arches and haven't found any problems with the fit for that, and my one foot is somewhat wide (bunyon) but that hasn't been a problem either - both shoes feel and fit great. They come up a little higher on the ankle than my previous New Balance running shoes but after a couple days of wear that wasn't a problem. I'm buying more of these right after I post this comment. My knee inflammation has gone down, the pain is going away. They've even become my default shoes for the gym. I can't recommend these enough.

These shoes are a great color and a very comfortable fit. I love the fact that they are lightweight. I wear inserts to give more arch support.

The item was defective one of the eyelets was separated. The shoe was of very poor quality and would not hold up under normal ware. It was a cute look and color but beyond that is was a zero. Returned as defective for refund.
