Fits perfectly as soon as the shoe is put on. Has great traction and keeps the foot in perfect position when running cross-country. Can be used on roads but it definitely is best off road.

Great basic trails how. Kept me motivated to run through last winter and kept off the 20 lbs I lost.

Great pair of sneakers. Excellent traction on wet grass, lightweight. Snug fit, but that is what they are supposed to fit like. Comfortable.

I ordered these a half size up because I've had New Balance run a little small in the past. Sure enough, they fit well in the half size larger. I ordered the men's to get the D width because there were no good D width women's shoes on Sierra Trading Post when I needed them. I have narrow heels and wide metatarsals, and--like other New Balance I've had in the past--these fit that shape foot well. I bought these for run/walking with my dog in varied terrain, and for dog agility, which involves short sprints on a dirt surface. These are my first trail running shoes--I used to run on the road years ago before knees started acting up. I expected more cushioning like my old road shoes had, but perhaps that's typical of trail running shoes. I am going to try inserts for extra cushioning. Don't know about durability because I only received these a week ago.
