    I walk about 30 miles a week on streets/sidewalks in every kind of weather the northeast US has to offer. These shoes are for every day that there isn't enough rain, snow or ice to make me switch to my Gore-Tex trail shoes or my boots. It is too early to rate them for durability, but they are light and comfortable, after trading for a larger pair because they seem to run small. The tread does not look like it will be good on even light ice, but that won't be tested for a couple more months.
