New Balance Bonita Skirt (For Women)

Since the spandex undershorts are opaque black, not mesh, I can wear this skort to the gym and run without worrying about exposing anything. There is a pocket on the leg of the spandex undershorts-very nice for carrying a credit card, tissue, wet-nap, hotel key...

It likes a lovely design. It is light and moves easily.

I bought several work out skorts on Sierra Trading Post at the same time to have a little variety. Although one reviewer really liked the 'kick' pleats, I thought they were a little awkward looking. Although functional, I buy skorts mainly because they are cuter than shorts so I like some of the other options I bought on Sierra better. That being said, they are quite comfortable and the length is significantly longer than a lot of other skorts. Overall a solid pair and I like the black.

Lycra shorts underneath skirt tend to ride up a bit (as do all lycra shorts) but since the skirt is not overly connected to them (as I've seen with some fitness skirts) so it doesn't do weird things to the fit. Great option to running/walking shorts (which all seem to be really short and/or highly cut OR that shiney knit jersey material that I hate these days--can't find the same types of shorts I was buying ten years ago so this is a good new alternative).

I like to cycle in skirts (skorts) so that when I get to town I can still be 'sorta' stylish! I purchased this skirt to cycle in, but once I had worn it a few times I loved it so much that I wore it everywhere. My husband started ferering to it as 'my uniform'! It is THE most comfortable skirt (skort) I have every had on. I think part of what makes it so great is that the 'kick' pleats in front are on both sides of the leg, thus when you cycle or do any other activity instead of flying up the skirt front just falls between your legs! Brilliant design and the shorts are made out of VERY comfortable and flexible material.

Fabric is nice and stretchy, but doesn't fit well, especially over a large posterior. Pant leg length too short for comfort.

Ive become a fan of running skirts. They give me coverage for modesty (I'm a masters runner). But, they don't restict at all and are cooler than shorts.

The bonita running skirt is comfortable and cute. I will buy another one when this one wears out, which will be pretty soon since I wear it all the time.
