“Great for cold weather - not tights!”

“I purchased these in December to wear for my first 5K. They are very comfortable and flattering. They are not tights but work very well for running without showing every bulge. (Please ladies!) These fit like a comfortable pair of tapered jeans but very lightweight. Tapered at the leg with back zippers that are not noticeable. Pockets are on the side seams with zippers and lay flat but are pretty deep. I carried my iPod Touch in my pocket with no problem of it bouncing around during my runs. There are reflective stripes on the side that are subtle in daylight and visible when you need them and a place for emergency information to be written on a long bright tag inside the pocket. I would think that this is important because recently, in our area, a runner collapsed and wasn't identified for days because she carried no id. It doesn't take manufacturers much effort to include this safety measure. I really loved these pants and wore them for my 5K's in Dec, Jan, and Feb. At my last 5K I tripped at the finish line and tore the knees, so I'm back to find another pair! The length was perfect for me - I'm tall, 5'9",and have a hard time finding running pants that are long enough. I washed these with my usual load, no special treatment and hung them to dry or threw them in the dryer with no difference. Simply... very easy to care for, comfortable, lightweight, fine fitting, cold-weather running pants with a runners safety in mind.”
