New Balance Gazelle 2.0 Running Pants - Reflective (For Women)

got these for running once it gets colder, and so far so good (only been about 40 so far, though). Zipper pocket for my cell phone, and just the right fit - not tight like running tights, not baggy like sweats.

I purchased these in December to wear for my first 5K. They are very comfortable and flattering. They are not tights but work very well for running without showing every bulge. (Please ladies!) These fit like a comfortable pair of tapered jeans but very lightweight. Tapered at the leg with back zippers that are not noticeable. Pockets are on the side seams with zippers and lay flat but are pretty deep. I carried my iPod Touch in my pocket with no problem of it bouncing around during my runs. There are reflective stripes on the side that are subtle in daylight and visible when you need them and a place for emergency information to be written on a long bright tag inside the pocket. I would think that this is important because recently, in our area, a runner collapsed and wasn't identified for days because she carried no id. It doesn't take manufacturers much effort to include this safety measure. I really loved these pants and wore them for my 5K's in Dec, Jan, and Feb. At my last 5K I tripped at the finish line and tore the knees, so I'm back to find another pair! The length was perfect for me - I'm tall, 5'9",and have a hard time finding running pants that are long enough. I washed these with my usual load, no special treatment and hung them to dry or threw them in the dryer with no difference. Simply... very easy to care for, comfortable, lightweight, fine fitting, cold-weather running pants with a runners safety in mind.

For running outside if below 35 definitely need an under layer with these. They are comfortable and would probably buy again, but...the cut is a little weird, makes me look a little puffy around thighs. Could have been a narrower cut around the thighs. Also, I have long legs yet there is a little too much bunching of material around ankle. Still, they are comfortable and would recommend. Definitely worth the sale price I paid.

Running

Pants are very comfortable. I like the reflective strips for early morning running. I'd prefer a boot cut to the zipper. My exercise takes me outdoors in sub zero and I havnen't tried them yet in that type of conditions. Good for 40 degrees so far.

I bought these for running in the park this fall. They fit very well, not too tight but snug enough so that there isn't a lot of extra fabric bunching up. I imagine the waist will be too high for the trendier set, but when I run, all I care about is comfort, so I don't really care whether the silhouette is fashionable. The higher waist means they stay on instead of falling down as you run, and that's fine by me.

Very comfortable fit. Lightweight yet kept my legs warm in 40 degree weather.

Very functional and comfortable. The zippers are cool!

I run five days a week. I am glad to have extra pants.
