I live in Colorado, and hoped to be able to get back into running after a 3 year break. Mornings are usually in the 20's. It was about 26 this morning, and they were barely warmer than just shorts. My knees hurt from the cold after only 10 minutes. I'd suggest wearing them between 40-50 or so. I'll keep using them, they're just not as warm as I had hopped.
