These have a little shine to them in some of the stripes including the front over the toe bumper that makes them look a little "edgy." He is rough on toes though so we'll have to wait & see how that part holds up. Maybe I should get him the next size up too!

Reviewed by gorgeguy from Portland, OR on Sunday, January 06, 2013My son likes their looks and walking in them. Running in them the first time hurt his foot, so I wouldn't expect an instant "break-in" period. Overall, still a well-contructed sole and I imagine they'll be fine before too long.
