Love the velcro closure that isn't the standard two strap. My 3 yr old has wide feet and these were perfect he has had them for a couple weeks and won't take them off for his naps...

Well, not really, but he does like toddling and running around the house in these, and my wife and I think they look sharp. The velcro closure is great for getting these on wriggling feet quickly.

First, the good: the shoes are very well made (as you'd expect from NB), have good traction and support, and once broken in a little they're easy on & off. The downsides: there's not much leeway with the velcro closure. Definitely NOT for wide feet. I really had to pull the lace very tight to get it to reach the velcro panel on the side of the shoe. It's getting easier now that my son has worn them for a couple weeks but when he first tried them on I was almost convinced I'd have to send them back. Luckily I tried tightening them again. Overall, you can't go wrong with the price and I'd definitely recommend these shoes for narrow or medium width feet, but not for wide.
