Verified Buyer Reviewed by CarolinaTraveler from Greenville on Monday, July 20, 2015Looked really cute online but ugh, terrible quality and very uncomfortable. I have 2 pairs of NB barefoot shoes so thought these would be similar. The bottom is a cheap plastic and just not comfy at all. Really disappointed,..these are going back ;-(
Verified Buyer Reviewed by meh9 from NY on Monday, May 18, 2015Can only speak to the the shoes comfort for now since it's not warm enough here yet to have worn them out on the water. They're light and the fit seems true to New Balances sizes, which for me means that I ordered a half size up. Will follow up with another review if they prove less effective in the water, but I don't foresee any issues.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Coastal Girl from Northern California on Monday, January 19, 2015I love how these look and the wide toe box. I am normally 7.5 W or WW. I bought an 8 M and it was too small. Exchanged for 8.5 M and they are pretty comfortable IF I wear light weight socks with them. Its to cold to go to the beach today and try them in the sand and water. They are comfortable for walking the trail in.
Reviewed by 8th surfer from Southern California on Thursday, January 8, 2015Ended up keeping these and find they are practically indestructible: the grippy sole doesn't seem to wear smooth and provides a secure footing especially when pivoting as in water Zumba. Still recommend a lightweight low-cut sock. The lack of cushioning in the shoe isn't an issue because aqua aerobics is low-impact anyway.

“Do you have any women's water shoes that come in wide width? I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide and am having a hard time finding the same size in a water shoe. I would appreciate your assistance.
I always find a Medium works in athletic footwear, meaning my feet are average width. These shoes have a broad forefoot - a sort of duck-like footprint. The vertical measurement inside the shoe is a bit low, though the material, a polyester fabric, allows the toes to move up and down and toes are not at all crammed in.
I did end up with an 81/2 instead of my usual 8 and this provided wiggle room. As for the other critical areas, if you have wide heels or high instep, there might be a problem, but I find the pluses in these shoes to be worth a try, and if they fit you may well agree. All you have to lose is return shipping.
