New Balance MR1224 Running Shoes (For Men)

New Balance (and Sierra Trading Post) does it again. these are a great value for the money!

I have been wearing NB shoes for over 20 years. I run through 3-4 pairs per year (about 12-15 miles/week). I have been wearing 1010s for a few years but these 1224s have stolen my heart. Best general purpose running shoe I have ever worn.

We bought these running shoes for my husband. He loves them a lot. Very, very comfortable running shoes. I think wed site said about that they run a half size small, so we ordered 1/2 size bigger that he usually wears.

One of the best new balence ever bought.

I use NB because I have wide feet (NB size 104E). I bought these for running but now I wear them for all of my workouts. They have excellent stability, are well cushioned and maybe the most comfortable shoes I have owned.

Good shoes. Good cushion and comfortable to run in. I often get bunions with narrower running shoes but not with these. The pad on the rear of the ankle does ride up a little bit an is a little to high for the no show socks.

Good wide fit that suits my needs

I am on my feet 10 hours a day. The shoe still feels great.

I am a big framed Dude, 6 ft, 220lbs. I beat shoes up, these are some of the best for big runners, can't complain.

1224s are the best running shoes I've owned (and I've tried dozens in recent years). I am 6-4/225 with 4e feet and need cushioning coupled with lightweight/breathable construction. And these are perfect. I spend 20 or more hours a week in these - mainly on trails = they've relegated all my others (including several pairs of other NBs) to the closet (and likely, eventually, the garbage). Highly recommended. Buy several pairs if they are available in your size...
