    Excellent fit for a fairly narrow and pronating foot, used with my custom orthotics. For my foot, the American or European lasts are notably more comfortable than those made in the usual places -- the others seem far too wide in the heel. The quality of this shoe seems typical NB, and I have received far more than the usual six-month recommended lifespan for an athletic shoe from previous NB products. I am not sure I would recommend any running shoe for any rugged trail work so I use this one for casual walking or day hikes on trails up to ten miles.
