New Balance MT1110 Trail Running Shoes (For Men)

Closeouts. In New Balance's MT1110 trail running shoes, you'll spend more time checking out the trail and scenery rather than looking at your feet. A Debris-free construction ensures no flying little trail bits get in, and Rock Stop® rock plate blocks any sharp, dangerous rocks trying to break through the bottom.

The shoes were purchased for someone with hard feet to fit. Generally a Men's Wide will do the trick, so we figured a shoe that was a 1/2 size bigger than the normal size and a 4E would work well. Sadly, they feel very narrow. They are wearable, and on all other counts excellent shoes, but if you are looking for a wide shoe, these are probably not the shoe for you.

Got a medium (d) width in 11 and the length was good but too narrow. Not sure how they would hold up. had to return.

I love this shoe. It's good on asphalt, great on dirt. It's like a hundred little fingers grabbing the trail. It's light on my feet and seems to offer reasonable cushion. It runs small and narrow, so keep that in mind.

I ordered the 2E width, which should be normally plenty wide for me. They are just barely wide enough.

Very pleased with these shoes. I'm a woman with hard-to-fit feet, so I'm always on the look-out for any Men's (?!)New Balance 9.5 4Es. I'm buying these purely for casual use, esp. since they are not waterproof. They are stylish and supportive, but pretty deep: I added a full insole and my orthotic, and they fit fine (don't usual need to add extra insole in NBs). The toe-box is covered in this resilient stretchy material, very comfortable. Good heel and midfoot stability. "Curvy shoelaces" stay tied! It says runs small, but I know my size in New Balance runs 1/2 size up, so I just stuck to what I knew and the shoes fit great. Well-made, good STP value!
