    This is the second pair of 558s I've bought, buying a half-size up from my regular shoe size, as is suggested. The fit is just right, and they feel immediately broken-in. I tried the 559 walking shoes, but they did not fit as well, and didn't feel broken-in after two months of daily use. So I've gone back to the 558s, and am again very pleased with them.

    I've had good success with New Balance walking and cross training shoes in the past, but it appears they have changed their sizing. I would highly recommend you heed the suggestion in the description and order a half size larger than normal.
