New Balance Nduro Sports Watch (For Men and Women)

Wanted a watch that looked modern and high quality but with functionality like countdown timer, chrono, time zones,etc. Hard to find a watch that fits the bill but this one does and I'm very happy with it. The light button is on the face, making it easy to activate in the dark. The button press chime is a little too loud but you can cut it off. The rubber border for the face is raised slightly and protects the glass from scratching on door jambs, etc. Very happy with it.

After five Timex Ironman watches, I decided to try a different brand of running watch. By comparison, the NB watch is much more stylish and attractive than the Ironman, making it a better choice for "everyday" use. Only two minor disadvantages of the NB: 1) It's not quite as convenient to use on a run as is the Ironman. (The Function buttons are on the side of watchface, NOT on the face itself.) 2) The watch is a bit bigger than the Ironman, and I'm not crazy about the "chunky" band. All things considered, it's a great value for the money! Give it a try.

I bought this watch to wear everyday, with the bonus that the numbers were large enough that I could also read them while galloping a horse cross country. This is not an everyday watch for me! While it says it is for Men and Women, I beg to differ. On the positive side, the face is large, the numbers are large, and it is very clear to read. I like the shape and look of the face of the watch and the buttons are fairly easy to use. The band however is far too large. I have to put it on the last hole and it wraps all the way around my wrist. It is also an inch wide and hugely bulky. I am not a petite little thing either. I have always considered myself "large boned". Due to the price of it, I am going to try and keep it just for riding, but it really bugs me on my wrist, so am not sure I can do it. I may also try and replace the band, but it is sort of integral to the watch, so this may prove impossible.
