    I bought these for rowing. I haven't tried them while rowing yet, but brought them on a trip to florida in JAN 2010 for jogging and early morning walking. Turned out that Florida was hit with a cold snap that week. Wore them everyday as long-johns and they saved my trip. These are XL. I wear 38 inch waist, so they should be a little big, but still stretch fit and very comfortable.

    The construction and quality of the material allowed the tights to fit snugly enough where needed but loosely enough so as not to feel like a pressure suit! Haven't owned long enough to determine how well this fit and construction will last.

    Good for cool weather riding on the trails of northern Michigan. Getting ready for the Iceman race Nov. 7th and the tights are a great addition to my biking outfit. The tights are just what I needed for the wet, cool rides in the woods. I can wear them over my bike shorts and am comfortable, dry, and warm.

    I've only used these once, but found them to be pretty good in light snow and moderate conditions. The snow bounces off them and I felt dry in spite of wet snow around the freezing mark. The tights are too light for extreme conditions but down to about the mid 20's they should be fine. I have a 29" waist and expected the mediums to be too loose but they are borderline too tight so order a size larger than you might expect.
