New Balance Speed Shorts (For Women)

Having read some other reviews, I got these in a large because I can't stand a too-tight waistband. The large ended up being too large but I am going to keep them anyway because I don't care if I look cool while running. There's something odd about the crotch...it's too long. Very breathable and comfortable for long runs (no chafing or riding up).

I took a chance on these, after reading some bad reviews about poor fit. But was plasantly surprised. They are super light, breathable, fit great, wash well. Awesome for hot weather workouts. No complaints here.

The shorts truly are sized wrong. I am a size 6, the medium shorts were way too small, fit snugly in waist and across hips. So, I returned for a Large...and they were slightly too loose which I didn't mind, so I kept them and after running in them for 8 1/2 miles today found them to be comfortable, breathable and they didn't ride up. Crazy that I ordered the matching tanks in a size small and they were true to size and that there is so much discrepancy between the size M and L, but if you don't mind the shorts a little loose, go with the next higher size. The color and pattern is awesome and definitely not something you will see anyone else wearing.

When these shorts arrived (I ordered the grey / orange)I loved the color. However when I put them on the waist was extremely tight, I am a regular size 4 or small and generally most things fit me whe I order a small. The waist was that tight I could barely get them up my thighs. The crutch also hung very low down my legs so it was very uncomfortable especially when you tried to lift your leg up. These were bought for running but there is no way I could wear them. They look nice off but are a really poor /strange fit.

Really cute shorts, but are just too short for me. Despite the 3" inseam and the photograph that makes them look much longer, they are really short shorts. Would be great if they were about 2" longer in length.

These shorts look great off but the fit is really weird. I run about 3 to 4 times a week, but there is no way I could run in these. The waist was extemely tight, I ordered the small as I am a size 4 or a small. If you are ordering these I would think that you would need a full size up. Also they were a really strange around the butt. Also the crutch hung really low so that when you lifted you leg the shorts pulled right up. To me they would be very uncomfortable to run in, so they went back, shame as the color of the grey and orange was great.
