New Balance TextureTech 2.0 Shirt - Long Sleeve (For Women)

Running is new to me and running in the winter in Wisconsin is a bit alarming. This shirt, so far, has done what it's promised; keeps me warm and dry under my wind breaker. The sleeves fit my long arms and the shirt itself is long enough for my body. The only weird thing, and it's just the looks, is the neckline. The shoulders of the shirt angle sharply at a 45 degree angle toward the neck and the neck of the shirt hovers somewhere just under my ears. Looks a little strange but it doesn't affect the comfort and since 1) I'm wearing it under a jacket and 2) I don't really care what I look like when I'm running since I'm going to look sweaty and gross anyway, it doesn't bother me at all.

Great shirt for running when it's chilly outside, it's lightweight and breathable. I will also wear this as an underlayer in the winter. The neck is a bit odd fitting , seems big around the neck but other than that pretty true to size. I am very small and the size sm fits nicely.

I use this shirt as a base layer on cold days or alone on mild days. Great moisture wicking and most of all, it's comfy.

This doesn't fit me quite right, but I am broad through the shoulders. Otherwise it is comfortable, wicks, and helps with wind.

The shirt looks great - nice color and good brand name. But not a good fitting shirt and isn't the most comfy to wear because of the poor fit. Sleeves too long and body too tight at some points.

This seemed to be made for a person with very narrow shoulders and very long arms. The small shoulders made it bunch weird around the neck and the arm length was extremely long (I have long arms, so it was really long). Sent it back.

I had to return this sweater because it fit so strangely over the shoulder lines. I have broad shoulders and the fabric was bulging up about 1 inch on each side of the neck.

This would be great for the lean runnner with slim arms. It was too tight on me.

I have struggled to understand New Balance's sizing, and this shirt doesn't solve any of the past problems. This top is too short in the length, too wide in the torso. The shoulder seams want to be past the top of my shoulders, because where the sleeve comes in the body is too wide. This makes the neckline extremely awkward, bunching up in a weird way. The all-over seaming, I think meant to make it more tailored to the body, winds up being constrictive and uncomfortable. The sleeve length is way too short with no stretch in the sleeves to allow access to the thumbholes. And the fabric isn't even very comfortable on the skin. The best I can say is, the azalea is an attractive color. But I can't recommend the shirt!
