Let me start by saying I like new balance and they fit my feet well. This might not be universal but it's true for me, so I was inclined to like the shoe. They broke in relatively quickly, and I was pleased with the weight (light) and ability to dry (got caught in a Thunderstorm, but they were good to go the next day). Padding was adequate, I have smaller ankles so the higher holes are optional for those that don't but nice for me. I have no complaints after 4 months of 5-10 miles per week.

I got these after trying another cheaper New Balance Running Shoe that just didn't fit right even though it was the exact same size! I love this pair! They are true to size (I get wide for my wide feet) and very comfortable. Use them to run 3 miles 3x/week.
