New Balance WR1224 Running Shoes (For Women)

I went 1/2 size up as recommended by other reviewers and it fits great, but then again the last time I was measured, the shoe fitter recommended I try a half size up. Regardless, this shoe is typical high quality from New Balance. My feet are happy!

I run about 40 miles a week, I usually buy nike bowerman series running shoes. I thought that I would try something new. I wish I hadn't I barely tie these shoes and they are tight on my feet. They run small. Even thought they are tight I do not get blisters. If they fit me I would love them, make sure you order the right size and take the kind of socks you wear into consideration.

I use these shoes for everyday life and they are so comfortable with awesome arch support and a good toebox. I want more, but my size is sold out.

I run half and full marathons, mostly paved roads but also trails. These shoes are great for both. There's a lot of room in the toe area which is helpful for me, especially when running down hill.

I am an emergency nurse and this is the shoe I run around in for 12 + hours a shift. I love them and couldn't imagine working without them

I went a half size larger based on other reviews and could possibly stood to go a full size larger instead. Other than that, they are extremely comfortable and lightweight. I walk on the outside edge of my feet because I have high arches that require orthotics. This shoe makes my foot very comfortable and allows me to walk like that.

Ordered B and D widths to compare - considerable difference in shoes.

I ordered half a size up, I'm a 8 1/2, but got 9 because I was told with long running times, due to feet swelling runners should get 1/2 up. I'm glad I did. They fit terrific. The laces stay tied thanks to NB great shoelaces. I wore these maybe 24 hours and then did a 5k this morning with zero issues. I'd hardly call them traditionally broken in but they were very comfortable and I walked around in them for another 4 hours after the race and my feet never felt tired. I may of felt a little sore in the arches, but it wasn't bad. I had a great run in them and will be buying again.
